Kostakis Papageorgiou holds a BSc and an MSc in Forestry and Natural Environment from the School of Forestry and Natural Environment of the Aristotelean University in Thessaloniki-Greece, a Specialised Post-University Diploma & MSc in Conservation and Management of Mediterranean Ecosystems from the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania (CIHEAM) and an MSc in Public Management from the Neapolis University Paphos-Cyprus. He is employed as a Conservator of Forests in the Department of Forests at the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment of Cyprus and his current official position is Senior Conservator of Forests and with main duties as “Head of the Fire Protection and Forest Engineering Sector”.
