George was born in Athens in May 1973. He is a Professor of Risk Assessment at European University Cyprus, Visiting Researcher at National Observatory of Athens, Visiting Professor at University of Haifa and Director of CERIDES – Excellence in Innovation and Technology. He is a Member of the EU Mission Board in Adaptation to Climate Change and a Special Advisor to HE the President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides.
